For more than 40 years, Vegan Summerfest has been a premier educational and social event for vegans and those just ­learning about this way of life. Register for 2020! Vegan Summerfest 2020 – Cancelled Unfortunately, due to issues related to the spread of coronavirus and the potential impact it could have on the people attending, we are cancelling our event this year. We have put on 45 annual conferences and this is the first year we have needed to cancel in all those years. It saddens us to have to do this, but we felt it was our only responsible option. You’ll also learn how veganism not only improves your health, but also helps animals and the environment. With a diverse variety of classes, discussion groups, food demos, fitness workouts, yoga, and more, this event is the place to learn about healthy, cruelty-free living! 3. Enjoy delicious vegan meals We’ve teamed up with award-winning vegan chef Mark Reinfeld to offer an amazing variety of scrumptious plant based meals, with a focus on healthy, delicious eating. Raw food and gluten-free options are available, too. 4. Meet people who share your interest in plant based living Vegan Summerfest attracts people of all ages – singles, couples and families. The relaxed social atmosphere provides ample opportunities to make connections that will last a lifetime! 5. Have a blast! Events are held at the Conference Center at Pitt-Johnstown, located on the campus of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, PA.
